Do you Drive and Dial?

Hi,

If you are a busy real estate agent like me (or parent) I am always in my car driving everywhere! Across town to a listing appointment - uptown to a BPO assignment - downtown to the title company - outta town to preview vacant land and then back to lunch for a meeting.... My car is my office.. ( infiniti g37 sport ) I try to utilize my traveling time by listening to motivational speeches, training courses, & listening to uplifting music.. and then my phone starts ringing - using the Bluetooth, I try to service all calls which consists of managing buyers contracts, managing sellers emotions, obtaining status updates from loan officers, & listening to voice mails, venting to my wife about the day, it just never ends.

I have tried my hand at prospecting using a clip board & a pen to take notes while driving down the freeway. This to me is the most challenging of all - It is hard for me to make a great impression to a prospective client while I am trying to negotiate a lane change in rush hour. In addition - the other line starts ringing and it's one of my kids needing my help... There seems to be to many distractions - plus I don't wanto get into an accident!  I have finally decided to stop prospecting while driving and just focus on listening to self improvement cd's.. I am just curious what others real estate agents do in their commutes throughout the week?
